In July 2008, our team successfully secured £15,000 of funding to grant to non-professional ensembles including Choirs, Orchestras, Brass Bands, Quartets and other groups.

Ensembles are now being invited to apply for grants towards their DRS recording package. Ensembles are entitled to apply for up to 50% of the cost of their package. Ensembles wishing to apply should ensure that they meet the criteria below before clicking on the 'Apply Now' link and completeing the online application form.

Ensembles wishing to apply for DRS recording grants should meet the following requirements:

• Be based in England, Wales or Scotland
• Been in existance for at least 18 months
• Comprise of 4 or more members
• Perform in public at least 5 times per year
• Be able to provide or source a suitable venue for the recording
