Take That - 'Never Forget'
Our Pro-Tools HD3 Mobile system was used to record the audio for Take That's sell-out Circus Tour, which was then mixed to provide the audio for the DVD release.
Newstead Brass Band - '18th Variation'
Our mobile 'Logic Rig' was used with Neve Pre-Amps and AKG microphones to record this piece at the Central Methodist Church in Hucknall, Notts. The track was produced by Rob Bushnell and Senior Engineer Ben Marshall. All post production was carried out in the DRS edit suite
The Official Receivers - 'Get Ready'
Recorded live at their Christmas show in 2004 on our 16 track RME system and mixed in Pro-tools by our in-house engineers, the track was released on the Official Receivers' Hold Back the Night' live album.
Ratby Co-operative Brass Band - 'Horizons' (Extract)
Composed to celebrate the Centinary Anniversary of Ratby Co-operative Brass Band by one of the UK's finest young composers, former Black Dyke percussionist Paul Lovett Cooper, this uplifting piece was recorded on an eight track Radar HD system using a combination of AKG 414's and Audio Technica 4050's. The session was condeucted by Mike Fowles and produced by Ben Marshall and Chris Houlding of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester
Glebe Symphonic Wind Orchestra - 'Masque'
Recorded back in 2003 at Repton School in Derbyshire under the control of Nick Firth. This piece from the award winning wind band was recorded on a Alesis HD recording system using a selection of AKG 414's and 451's. It was edited using one of our mobile production suites by Nick and our team in Logic & Pro-Tools in early 2004.
Farnaby and Co - 'Il Est' Bon'
Nottingham's leading madrigal choir recorded their 2007 album using our stereo hard disk recording system at St Michael's Church in Linby, Nottinghamshire. The tracks were then mixed in Logic Pro.
Phil Rostance & The Marshall Band (Trent FM/Capital FM) - 'Raise Your Voice'
We were contracted to produce this mammoth task from start to finish. We recorded the band at our studio facility before heading out on the road for nearly 4 weeks to record over 10,000 school children on location as well as 3 professional football team, an ice hockey team, the world super middleweight boxing champion and a host of other celebrities. We then mixed the project in Logic before producing the video using Final Cut and a selection of Sony HD camera.
Scott Bench Taylor - 'Be Young, Be Foolish'
This recording was made for Scott's first album using a DRS mobile recording suite with Neumann microphones and Korg Triton sound modules with Logic Pro 6 at the heart of the system.
Quintessential - 'The Lord Bless You And Keep You'
2008 Saw this fantastic vocal ensemble from the North West of England recording their debut album in a Manchester Methodist Chapel using a DRS mobile system with the post-production taking place at DRS' edit suite in Pro Tools.
