We are the UK's leading location recording specialists with nearly 10 years experience capturing live audio outside of conventional studio environments. Based in the heart of the Midlands, our clients and operations span over three continents and range from global brands to local brass bands and schools.

Our company was launched by our current Chief Executive Officer, Ben Marshall. Ben studied BSc Music Technology at Birmingham Conservatoire before launching DRS in early 2003. The company was originally based in Birmingham but is now based in Nottingham where we have extensive premises including our state of the art edit suite.

Whilst our core team remains as only 5 people, we have working relationships with the best engineers and producers in the world and contract these individuals on behalf of our clients to deliver world class results on project after project.

Whilst we have developed in to a truly international media operation, we remain committed to working with and serving local musicians and organisations to the highest degree and always have a packet of biscuits and a cup of tea ready for clients in our edit suites.
