Ratby Co-operative Brass Band - Horizons (Extract)
Composed to celebrate the Centinary Anniversary of Ratby Co-operative Brass Band by one of the UK's finest young composers, Black Dyke trombonist Paul Lovett Cooper, this uplifting piece was recorded on an eight track Radar HD system using a combination of AKG 414's and Audio Technica 4050's. The session was condeucted by Mike Fowles and produced by Ben Marshall and Chris Houlding of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester- Click Here to Listen
Glebe Symphonic Wind Orchestra - Masque
Recorded back in 2003 at Repton School in Derbyshire under the control of Nick Firth. This piece from the award winning wind band was recorded on a Alesis HD recording system using a selection of AKG 414's and 451's. 2008 Has seen this fantastic vocal ensemble from the North West of England recording their debut album in a Manchester Methodist Chapel using a DRS mobile system with the post-production taking place at DRS' edit suite in Pro Tools.
