When Christine is not busy performing she is involved in teaching at the Christine Sumner Academy of Music. Young people between the ages of 7 – 23 years are given tuition in Singing, Piano and Music Theory. Individuals are prepared for ABRSM exams, AS and A2 level recitals. Lessons :30mins:45mins:1hr:1hr.15mins: in length according to appropriate individual development. Singers at all levels are strongly encouraged to take piano lessons at the Academy. Performance opportunities are numerous and Advanced singers are also given the opportunity of duet, solo and recital experience. Language tuition is covered as part of the lesson, German, Italian and French are offered as is, movement and drama.
